One Stick...Etz Echad

Help One Stick help THEM!

Yad Hashmona is a Messianic moshav in Israel.  They are approximately 15 miles west of Yerushalayim.  We had the privilege of getting to know them in 2008 through our guide, Yonatan bar David.

As you will recall, with your help, we were able to send enough funds to Yad Hashmona for them to build a brand new sport court and playground.  Ayelet Ronen is the Executive Director of Yad Hashmona and is a beautiful, precious woman of faith!

If you go to our website at www.onestickministries.com you will see a link on the front page, ‘Look what you helped build!’, which will take you to a photo album of that project, with notes from the children.  I have included a few of those pictures in this email.

These precious children had no place to play before this was built.  They are now able to not only have a place to play, but a place to invite other children and teens to come and also enjoy these facilities.

This makes for a wonderful opportunity for these believers to be with other non-believing Jews in the land ofIsrael… a blessing indeed.  For Yad Hashmona is a LIGHT because of THE LIGHT living in them!

They were so excited to get to the playground, that they ‘cut the ribbon’ at night, as the children ran to get on the slides!

Ayelet’s husband Daniel and the men of Yad Hashmona did most of the work on this, after their long days of work, but it was a labor of love.

But the needs at Yad Hashmona continue.

They need bathrooms by the sport court/playground.  They also have a huge plumbing repair need!  This is in the hundreds of thousands of dollars needed.  But this ‘big need’ is not too big for our Elohim and His Messiah!

How many of you would like to have such a massive plumbing problem in your own homes?  This may not be a glamorous fund raising opportunity, but it is very needed!  There is one in our fellowship who cleans condos as a second job and she has truly ‘seconded the motion’ that this is something so needed that we need to fund as well… she who is often found with a toilet brush in her hand!

It is sad to say that the large Jewish Fund organizations that help with needs in moshavs (communities) inIsrael are in no way interested in helping Yad Hashmona at this point, because of one simple reason:  They are Messianic, they believe in Yeshua as Messiah.

In every way, this beautiful community of Yad Hashmona is Jewish.  They are Torah loving and obedient to His instructions in every way.  However, they know the true Messiah Yeshua!  And they are not ashamed of Him or His powerful name!  HalleluYAH!

But for that reason, there is not help coming to them, except through believers like YOU!

Help us help them… keep reading!

Together in Messiah we can do it!

We can reach out and love this special place and these brothers and sisters of ours.

Remember, Yeshua said the following about His brothers:

Mat 12:47  And one said to Him, “See, Your mother and Your brothers are standing outside, seeking to speak with You.”

Mat 12:48  But He answering, said to the one who spoke to Him,

“Who is My mother and who are My brothers?”

Mat 12:49  And having stretched out His hand toward His taught ones, He said,

“See My mother and My brothers!

Mat 12:50  “For whoever does the desire of My Father who is in the heavens is My brother and sister and mother.”

Mat 25:40  “And the Sovereign shall answer and say to them, ‘Truly, I say to you, in so far as you did it to one of the least of these My brothers, you did it to Me.’”

Today One Stick is sending $5,000.00 to Yad Hashmona, and we are believing for great multiplicationcoming, so that we can send them more, much more.

This is your opportunity to be part of blessing our brothers and sisters in the land of Yisrael!  You will be glad you did and will make His heart glad!

This is indeed rich fertile soil in which to sow your seed.

Giving into Believers in Yisrael… it doesn’t get much better than this.

Be sure and note that this is for Yad Hashmona

‘Yad HaShmona’ means ‘memorial for the eight’ in honor of eight Jewish refugees who fled Austria and found safe refuge in Finland.  There were those from Finland who came to start this kibbutz/moshav ‘Yad Hashmona’, and here is a picture of a few of those courageous pioneering women.  They went to then Prime Minister Golda Meir, and were the first non-Jews to receive permission to build a kibbutz.  When speaking with them, they knew that they had been called by Him to prepare this place for believing Jews… our brothers.

The word ‘Yad’ also means ‘hand’.

And as we know ‘eight’ also means ‘new beginning’.

Let us join our ‘eight hands’ in new beginnings, by helping Yad Hashmona now.

HalleluYAH!  He is good and merciful and we are blessed and privileged to sow into our brothers and sisters in the land of Yisrael!

Let us GIVE OUR BEST into this fertile soil!

Let us give into those who will be a LIGHT in the coming hours… so needed!

In His shalom,

Constance

‘Toda’ is ‘Thank You’ in Hebrew
